July Sunset at Eagle Manor

I snapped this beautiful sunset yesterday evening. The extra humidity associated with the heatwave has made for some excellent sunrises and sunsets this week. This was taken from our River Deck overlooking the Cohansey River, but their was an equally beautiful view from the stocked Reflecting Pond behind the Historic Dairy Barn. I also have some video which I will post later. Bring your family, club, or other group to Eagle Manor and enjoy the entire estate for only $20 per night (for parties of 20 or more).

When you visit Eagle Manor you can enjoy fishing, boating, sailing, water skiing, sunbathing, or just taking it all in at a number of waterfront locations. There are six ponds within walking distance of the mansion house. We’re also a 15 minute ride, by boat or car, from the Delaware Bay shore.

If you’re interested in waterfront dining, there’s a kitchen in our boathouse reception hall which is attached to our river deck. We also have two grills for grilling surf or turf. You can also visit the Bait Box restaurant just 5 minutes down river by boat if you prefer to dine at a waterfront restaurant.

This is a standard sunset at Eagle Manor. In this case we’re overlooking the mighty Cohansey River from the river deck, but we also have great sunset views from the stocked reflecting pond. The great thing about the location of the river is that you get both waterfront sunrises and waterfront sunsets.
